Affiliate disclosure
Affiliate links cannot change scores.
PetScored may earn a commission when readers buy through some links. That does not affect scoring, rankings, methodology, or whether a product is covered.
Active affiliate programs
Amazon Associates. PetScored is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Our Amazon Associates tracking ID is petscored-20. When you click a tagged Amazon link from PetScored and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
All Amazon links on PetScored are search links (not direct ASIN affiliate links) and carry rel="nofollow sponsored noopener". Tagged links are disclosed inline on every product page that surfaces them.
Chewy and Petco. Currently unmonetized. Search links exist for convenience; we are not yet enrolled in the Chewy / Impact or Petco / Rakuten affiliate programs. When we are, this page will list those tracking IDs and the inline disclosure on product pages will update automatically.
What affiliate revenue cannot do
No paid placement.
No manufacturer-sponsored rankings.
No rubric overrides for partners, retailers, or brands.
No bonus points for products that have affiliate programs.
No editorial coverage in exchange for commission rates.
How the score is decided
PetScored scoring is based on source data, deterministic rules from the public rubric, methodology version, and confidence state. The score is reconstructible from the inputs visible on every product scorecard. Affiliate availability is not one of the inputs.
